In Mission 7 (One Bullet), after passing through the first building look at the ledge to your right and you'll see a box of doughnuts. Shooting it triggers a giant doughnut rolling down the hill towards you, before exploding in the lava below!

    So to recap, Homer Simpson is the Space Jockey in the first film, creating the giant doughnut to destroy all mankind, after he got sacked from FOX. Sadly, as the same goes for the Prometheus space jockey, he was foiled in his plan, and tried to eat doughnuts as he was impregnated by the ALIENS on the gigantic chair, but died while flying. The crash of the ship threw the packets of doughnuts to, well, somewhere. Because of FOX, so many had to have no doughnuts, and die.
