This scene should have been added, it explains why the Aliens took the ceiling route to enter.

long ago when CBS first aired Aliens, this scene was shown. I was young but definately remember this scene. so if y'all just noticed it on the vamped up DVD then y'all are way behind .

Aliens set the direction of the US military for 20 years now. The sentry guns are coming, you just wait.

Well the welded locked door explains well why the Aliens took the ceiling route to enter. What I'm thinking is that this level of action is nowhere else in the movie and makes it appeal to a more narrow audience. I think they were smart to take it out, because they wanted to make money... but hey it's the best action scene... ever.
