Straight Leg Deadlift, stiff leg deadlift, and RDL all get confused to be the same exercise. Great exercise for the glutes and hamstrings. Learn how to properly do these by watch this video.

  • RDL= russian or romanian deadlift? and which is better?

  • This is not rdl

  • Which is this ?

  • I thought rdl stood for romanian deadlift

  • RDL is Glute Dominant dosent go pass uour knees. Straight leg is DL is more hamstring dominant.

  • Not to come across as an ass or anything but RDLs and SLDLs are not the same, although they are similar.

With an RDL you keep the bar in contact with your body the whole time and you punch your butt back to perform the motion.

With an SLDL the bar is lowered in front of you more away from the body and you are lowering the bar with your back instead of punching your butt back.
