Un proyecto de Oscar Abril Ascaso para el pabellón de la Región de Murcia en la 28º edición de la Feria Internacional de Arte Contemporáneo ARCO en Madrid (11-16 febrero 2009).

Con Blast Theory, Michelle Teran, Jonah Brucker-Cohen, Gordan Savicic, Diego Diaz / Clara Boj, Roger Bernat, Ramón Gonzalez Palazón y Flashmob Murcia.

Techformance es un proyecto expositivo que reactualiza la tradición histórica del happening colectivo a través del uso de las nuevas tecnologías de comunicación y de localización contemporáneas.
En una ambiciosa apuesta, Techformance desplaza el binomio entre obra de arte y mercado galerístico propio de toda feria de arte contemporáneo para sustituirlo por el protagonismo de la idea de proceso y de espacio público. Una celebración de la participación colectiva y del territorio.
Así, Techformance convierte el pabellón de la Región de Murcia en Arco'09 en una estructura abierta y expandida, desde la capital de España hasta las orillas del Mediterraneo. Un hub de propuestas de participación al servicio de los visitantes de la feria y de la ciudadanía murciana a tiempo real del 11 al 16 de febrero de 2009.

Techformance is an exhibition project updating the by-now historical idea of the collective Happening by means of contemporary communication and navigation technologies.
In an ambitious makeover, Techformance takes the binomial between the artwork and art market proper to any contemporary art fair and replaces it with the idea of process and public space in a celebration of collective participation and the territory.


In this way, Techformance transforms the Region of Murcia booth at ARCOmadrid_2009 into an open and expanded structure, extending from the capital of Spain to the shores of the Mediterranean. A hub ofparticipatory projects inviting visitors to the art fair and citizens in Murcia alike to take part in real time from February 11th to 16th 2009.
