  • So what was the process used to get that shine?

  • Here is the process used

1 The day before the car was washed and dried

2 In the evening I used Meguiars Ultimate Compound to clean, polish and fix minor scratches.

3 Then a thin layer of Ultimate liquid wax was applied to the car and allowed to sit over night in the garage.

4 The next morning the wax was removed then a second coat applied and removed after one hour.

5 Then I use the time of day and position of the sun to get the maximum reflections when taking videos.

  • Nice job, make more videos I love Grand Prixs.

yeah, it really came out clean

  • @robertkurt2 Yeah, I think I will just stick to usiing Eagle One nano wax. I think they make it in a gel now.

Even the stuff I have it actually prevents rust from sea salted air, and the elements.

I used it to wax my bike with and I live in a beach town and no rust, a previous bike I had started getting surface rust after 1 month.

I just use it on my SUV now. also it doesnt leave white film and its easy on and wait 15 or 20 min depend on temp then easy off!

  • @agenthelios1 I have to agree on the durability thing with you. I think it's good for a quick job if you want your car to look good for a show and shine or to go cruising on a summer day.

I think for maximum protection one has to use the good old fashion carnauba paste wax.

  • By hand is better anyway, buffer is annoying and then you have to deal with changing pads.

I thought Ultimate wax was bullshit at first but after your video I decided to give it another shot since your car came out great.

I like the reflections I am seeing after using it, but I am not sold on durability. It rained and seems like all the grime deteriorated the protection. I dont see beading anymore (although beading is NOT all there is to it) Who knows.
