@AngelDecoys It's people that say things like you that Give me hope that America can be saved... Spread the Word... Ron Paul 2012!

@themaniusedtob You are oversimplifying this...it related directly to the health of the US economy...years ago, people could afford to retire on their pension and not be dependent on government...now, due to globalism, the small businesses that have supported us for so long are going out of business due to non-support and over taxing...funny how big corps are now paying less in taxes and the little guys are paying more...that's why so many are more dependent on government...they have no choice!

Give a person a fish and they will eat for a day. Give a person a fish EVERY DAY and soon, they will begin to believe that YOUR fish belongs to THEM!

If they really want to cut the budget, Instead of worrying about the poor and disabled people enrolled in entitlement programs they should worry more about how much the rich and pompous celebrities like Charlie Sheen and Justin Bieber are earning in salary and how much they pay in income tax to support the government. These celebrities make enough money off the public to support many more entitlement programs that haven't yet been created, plus support non-essentials like NPR radio and PBS.

Go Ron Go! Awesome video..... Government will not solve everyone's problems. Everyone will have to solve his or her own problems in a capitalistic way. If you like to stand in line to get your DL renewed and stand in line to get a copy of your "Social" security card.....then you think you are not smart enough to drive when your license expires. Less Government Bureaucracy and more "freedom" if there is still such a thing.

We should end all these entitlements. The legacy of the New Deal & the War On Poverty if left untouched, will be that of moral & fiscal bankruptcy. Out of wedlock births, crime & drug use have all climbed as a result of removing the real-world consequences of people's actions-that is what gov't programs do, they seek to end consequences.

@Marchant2 I totally agree with you, but I don't think Ron would get the news coverage that he truly deserves.

Now that I've left the Democratic Party and have gone independent, Ron Paul is looking pretty damn good. Just get rid of that title of Republican and use Libertarian or Independent, unless there's a guarantee that the religious right won't have any influence.
It is refreshing to hear someone not polished, and not supported by the corporations and special interest groups.
A humble, honest man who cares more about the country than himself.
