Opus Arte: I love that you use YouTube, but why only 1 min excerpts? And you should repost the videos with better sound. The sound is really blurry and bad.

TERRIBLE. patrice chereau strikes again with his madness--apparently you Europoeans have to f-- up your own dramas with techno directors. So far, here in America, we still honor Wagner and his set design.

With all this ridiculous production & staging that Richard Wagner could never have dreamed of, why doesn't someone just downsize the orchestra and let a jazz quintet play combo arrangements, or let a DJ with 2 turntables perform it. Wagner didn't intend it to be performed that way, but why not? Leaving the music in 1860's and putting a plastic, Walt Disney treatment on the production doesn't make much sense.
