I just watched the movie and I can tell you, as a german, it's so hard to understand the older people but at all the movie isn't as bad as I excepted (because of the age). Only the ending is a bit too short...

According to Travis Walton, all this NEVER happened. The abusive behavior, the dragging of Travis through the corridors...etc. Although, he did say indeed that he had tried to fight them off. He managed to gain consciousness on the ship, and as he awoke, his blurry vision tuned in and he saw three aliens. He grabs a medical instrument on the table, and tries to fight them. They run out of the room, and he is left to his own curiosity.
