MA; where I stood [4x11]

Fist of all, HOW GORGEOUS WAS MITHIAN? Really, she was truly amazing.
My opinion about this episode... well, i've changed my mind a bit after re-watching it, but i didn't liked it too much anyways. Was a bit pointless, since there are only 2 episodes left for the season to end (13 episodes it's not enough). Mithian was the only thing on the episode that really kept me there watching it, because she was perfect, the best princess Camelot has ever seen. Better than Elena, Vivian, and of course, and forgive me for this, arwen fans, but better than Gwen will ever be, in my opinion. She was sweet, she liked Merlin since the begining and was completely adorable with him, i sort of think she shipped merthur, but that must be my imagination, (and now i'm gonna talk about Merlin, because he could have left things alone, i didn't liked what he did with her...), and she liked hunting, and made Arthur feel really comfortable, i believe, he really seemed being enjoying with her. (I'd rather see her as queen, she would have been a perfect queen). Shipping Arthur/Mithian.
But, like they ALWAYS do, the writers had to fuck every single thing up. BECAUSE ARE YOU SAYING THAN NOW MERLIN IS THE BIGGEST ARWEN SUPPORTER, seriously?
what about, NO, thanks.
That just killed me.
I understand the writers have deleted which i believe are probably the most important scenes, the sigil one, and the father talk, because the chemistry between them in those scenes was huge, but no, i don't really understand, and they put the worst merthur moments on the episode to make me ship arwen or something (which obviously is not working), but what i can't stand is that now Merlin is all like 'no, Arthur, Gwen is your destiny, you love her, you can't marry Mithian, you still love Gwen bla bla and blah!' i just can't believe the writers are doing this with merthur, i can't. i'm starting missing season 1 where all the merthur was truly about merthur, because now every fucking merthur scene is about arwen, and if i'm not wrong, the show is called MERLIN, not ARWEN, and the show is supposed to be focused on merlin, his magic, and him and arthur, and it looks like to me that both of them are missing. They keep saying merlin is the most powerfull sorcerer, but he never does anything special, and i think it's time for the writers to work on merlin's magic development.

And well, the vid... my merthur heart, sorry. I've said i loved her, and i do, but my merthur is my merthur, and I really saw merlin jealous (and no because of gwen) (and i really need to see arthur jealous sometimes, cause i'm getting tired of seeing how Merlin always ends hurt because of Arthur) (oh, and let me say; the stupid and lovely look at the end... is it just me or the eyefucking is getting intense by episodes? cause really, the way they look at each other...), and this video practically made by itself. It's a fucking shit, i've made it in like 30 mins, and i don't really know what's the point of this video (it's more like an excuse to give you my opinion), but well, no, i know, this is just maybe, kind of how i feel about them right now. Sad.

And now you can hate me, and unsub me for this, i don't care, i needed to say all of this because i feel like the merthur is going downfall (and i'm going down with them). The fist 6 episodes had AMAZING merthur scenes, but now the writers seem have forgotten about them. And i bet that in 4x12-13 they will delete the most important merthur scenes.

I officially love you & your description! I loved Mithian, she was perfect!

You could tell Arthur liked her, she was funny, kind, and really tried with Merlin & accepted their friendship. The thing I didn't like was how cold Merlin was towards her. She didn't do anything wrong, & yet he shunned her (like how he turned on Morgana, which may have been a part of why she turned evil). I knew from the start the writers were going to - bring in an amazing character and then ruin it/them! *sighs*

AMAZING video :) I also loved the Princes and I agree with you on pretty much everything, but the thing that annoyed me the most about yesterday's episode was when Merlin told Arthur that Gwen was the one who's sacrificed the most for Camelot. Sure she's been trough some hardships this past weeks and she took care of Uther for what.. a year but what about Lancelot who sacrificed his life or I don't know MERLIN who has to save their necks at a weekly basis without receiving any thanks.

Mithian was so beautiful, so lovely! But I love and I really miss those moving scenes between Arthur and Merlin and the loving looks with which they watch each other! I absolutely agree with Merlin and his magic!!! Season 4 has begun so fantastic and what happens now? I want more magic and more power and especially more Merthur!

as much as i adore merthur, i'm an arwen fan. i understand why the writers had to make mithian very likeable. she could have been a perfect queen for arthur but with arthur finding the ring in the middle of nowhere & before he is to marry is a sign that gwen is arthur's destiny. no matter what or who comes in between, there's something that draws the two back together. i'm sure there'd be plenty of merthur scenes in the next series especially after we've seen arthur appreciate merlin more.

I seriously watch this video at least three times a day and still I can't get over of how perfect it is :). So sad the season is over now and we'll have to wait an ungodly amount of time before we see Merthur again I mean Merlin again :)

@MultiNancy75 What does that mean? I thought when Merlin story finishes Arthur's begins. Merlin is Arthur's maker and thats his destiny. They are not destined to be together like couple.

@Vic9568 Merlin was suggesting in reference to the ideal girl Arthur should marry. He wasn't saying Gwen is the only one who would sacrifice. He was saying amongst any matches Arthur would go for, Gwen is the one who will care about camelot and him the most.
