This is actually really irresponsible and immature. I know that you guys were probably trying to make some sort of inference about society and how much people care (or how little) when things like this happen, but as young people without any justified reason (like a legitimate study purpose for statistics/real observations), making anyone worry or anything like this is wrong. Faking any sort of incident that could be a real issue elsewhere is horrible to do. Very, very immature.

Yet as young people we have an open mind about society. I don't believe this as being irresponsible or immature, we are young but not that young. Yes, we can be immature, but we are more mature than average teens. We aren't stupid.

needs to be done many more times. I would NOT have sent someone to help him, and seen how long it took for someone to notice. Also, you could try to observe the effects of where he landed, ie in the middle of the walkway, or in a quiet corner..

@dirtydirtydirty12ify I think it actually shows a lot of initiative to explore the area of social conformity practically. Its always nice to see people taking an active role in their education and for all you know they may have constructed a debrief for the woman that stopped.

This is a real psychological study, which has been replicated numerous times, but approaching him immediately after he has fallen has created an alternative 'group' for people to conform to. (come help group)
