  • Question?why can't you burn the coconut milk I cooked it until it turned brown and was very dry and then used a cheese cloth to strain the oil I found that you get about 4oz oil for 18oz oil just wondering if this is bad for you to do ? Thanks so much for your video :)

  • @MrRawc Yeah, keeping on making that coconut oil!! If you don't mind the smell go ahead and do what works for you. I burnt it once and had to throw it out because the smell of that batch of oil was awful in my daughters hair.

  • Sorry I have been so out of touch! But I am back!!

@Jozani77 I didn't talk about internal uses bc personally I have not used it in that manner. However, I have read it is great for weightloss, improves insulin production, fights heart disease and helps improve your digestive track.

@varsityeagle89 Yes, my Mom uses this to cook with. I don't bc I love cooking with Olive oil.

@queeny107 Boil until the 'cream' curdles and turns brown but is not burnt approx 10 min

    Thank you for compliments!!

  • It really is!! My Mom is from T&T and when she came to visit for the birth of my daughter, a few years ago, she made it for her.

  • hi! i use coconut oil for cooking, visit westonaprice org they explain a lot of benefits for your health, i'm trying right now your recipe and i'm planning to use for cooking, thanks!

  • Hi Tks 4 video! BTW careful there with Olive Oil - its a monosaturated oil which means it separates the single molecule very very easily at high temperatures - and can cause *cancer*! Olive oil is great as fresh oil in salads, and for lightly heated cooking. Absolute no no at high temps - *not* for stir fries and *not* for frying :-)

  • How long do you boil for?

  • Great video! I a going to try it today:)

  • the way we make it is easier. We just cook coconut cream or flakes, any does the trick. it tastes good too lol

  • so this is still good for cooking tho right?
