90's Commercials Vol. 33

These commercials aired on local Sacramento Affiliate KRBK 31 in October of 1990. Thanks to my cousin David for recording these.

1. Disney Afternoon Commercial Bumper
2. Game Boy (I regret not having the original giant B&W Gameboy. I had a Game Gear instead. I eventually got a GB Color and the later GBA models though)
3. Keebler Mini Middles (Magic Middles cookies were like heroin to me as a kid. I still don't know how they made them, but I assume it involved alchemy or devil worship)
4. "Tale Spin" sweepstakes
5. Cinnamon Toast Crunch (I SO remember the girl taunting Wendell with the word "Cinn-amon!")
6. Zero Gravity Cliffhangers
7. Disney Afternoon Bumper
8. Next on "Tale Spin"...
9. New Kids On The Block Dolls ("Shut your eyes, Marion...")
10. Squeezits (Besides grape, I really liked the apple flavor too)
11. Disney Afternoon Commercial Bumper
12. Eggo Waffles (I was always confused as to why kids would steal food from their parents, in their own home. Is putting a waffle in a toaster just too much work?)
13. Baby Sparkles (Shine, shine, shine)
14. McDonald's (That exact Pumpkin pail is in a box of Halloween stuff we have in storage)
15. Apple Cinnamon Cheerios (I really need to try these again. I ate them a lot as a kid)

Man, I miss those McDonald pails...and I miss how McDonald's used to be w/ the Ronald McDonald and the characters. Now their commercials are so ghetto-themed. Will they get rid of the lame "I'm lovin' it" slogan cuz I'm really "hatin' it"?!

AHHHH gameboy,squeezits,tail spin,& a glow in the dark zero gravity race track.damn that takes me back,memories of an 80's baby raised in the 90's.

Man I gotta set up my old race track now, specially since I can curse freely when the pieces don't line up like I want them to.

The only dark splotch on the 90's....the birth of Boy bands.
