I stumbled across this and I have to say , Bless you my friend!!!!!!!!! This is the "early hard rock blues" that will never be forgotten. Thank you!!!
I remember hearing this on the radio when it came out. Some time later (within a year or two), I heard a version by a female singer named Evie Sands. I thought that her version was brand new and was a remake/cover of the one by Vanilla Fudge. However, many years later, I learned that Evie Sands' version came first. What may have happened is that her version got re-released later and got some airplay like it was a new song.
GREAT TUNE FROM AN EXTREMELY TALENTED QUARTET!!! SAW THEM IN CONCERT BACK IN THE DAY.I-N-C-R-E-D-I-B-L-E. THANKS FOR THE MEMORIES AND THE FUN, TOM D. BRICK, NJ. {AT THE SHORE}.
I'm glad you posted this song. The only one I heard was their cover of "You Keep Me Hangin' On" and I felt like looking for some other tracks! Thanks again!
