I was in Tenekee last month. It truly is paradise. It would be a shame to ruin it. It's one of those places that just needs to be left alone.

I have a couple friends that live there, my grandma and grandpa go there all throughout the year, and i go there in the summer. It isn't really easy for people to "suck it up and cope" when they lived there their whole life. If you took the time to go live there for a while, you'll understand why people don't want to give up its natural beauty.

no tornadoes, but it is very wet most of the year. And if you live farther north, it is covered in snow all winter long. But the Spring and Summer are breath taking.
