Dragon Quest VIII: Dragovian Trials, Hero Only (Part 1 of 2)

The hero undertakes the final Dragovian Trial (eight bosses in a row) without assistance from fellow party members or monster teams. Can he prove himself to be the single strongest being in the game?

His stats were:

HP - 820
MP - 492
Strength - 920
Agility - 300(350)
Resilience - 600
Wisdom - 380
Attack - 999
Defence - 825

It took me about three months of gathering stat-boosting seeds to reach these stats--without cheats (I used a turbo controller). As seen at the end of Part 2, many, many battles were fought, and even more monsters had to die.

Dragon Slayer
Dragovian Armor
Metal King Shield
Dragovian Helm
Meteorite Bracer
Rune Staff

Mimics and Red Fangs on the island in the southwest corner of the map

This is the best Dragon Quest Game ever.

But the metal king spear is better than the swords in the game.

With a sword you can attack dragons with 150 %.

But with a spear you can attack one enemy with 150-200 %.

And the Metal King Spear ist the strongest weapon in the game.

(Über) Falcon Blade + Falcon Slash = 225% damage

Dragon Slayer + Dragon/Falcon Slash = 240% damage

and haven't managed to beat this guy yet. Would you mind giving me the recommended level for this guy? Everyone in the party is almost level 40.

Awesome! This is one of the BEST rpgs ever made! I'm so glad I picked it up on a whim on Saturday afternoon! I absolutely loved it! Definately old-school meets new tech!

men you are a master XD. how many time it take you to level your characters to 99?. Mine are only at level 58-59 and its imposible for me to complete the trial, the last dragon always kills me because lack of MP, waht can i do?

DAMNNN!!! LEVEL 99!!!!!!!! Insane ass falcon slash!!!!! did like 250 a slash, and he could heal his self with miracle slash fully when attacked and hp half gon!!!
