Three radically different men's lives are intertwined over the course of two days in this drama from first time director Oscar De Leon. Rodrigo is a hard working Mexican migrant farm worker from a very proud family. His mother is slowly dying and they lack the means to finance her life saving surgery. Rodrigo becomes tired of waiting for an honest way to help her and begins selling drugs. Jonah is a punk teen with parent issues. He wants to run away with his girlfriend and sees the opportunity open to him when he finds, much to her apprehension, she is pregnant. Charlie is a racist farmer with a dark secret. He is worn-out from not having a stable romantic relationship until the former love of his life appears and brings conflicting emotion to him.
The film is shot on the Cannon Vixia hv40, acclaimed by amateur and aspiring filmmakers for its stunning quality. The film is 1080i HD and was shot on location in Fargo, North Dakota and Gluek, Minnesota. The director experimented with using a variety of techniques to portray each character's story in a unique way such as filming Rodrigo's story in Spanish with English subtitles.
