I had the 1968 one; worst flu I've EVER had, and I THINK I had H1N1 last week which was NOTHING compaired to 1968. Headache, low fever, fatigue, sore throat (went into my ears...OUCH!) and cough. Fever was gone in 3 days (my daughter's was gone in ONE day, but it was a bit higher) sore throat a day later and am almost over the cough now; 11 days later. It's no big deal. Not fun, but no big deal. It's bown way over proportion by the media. The only thing is that lots of people get it.

hey im with you george, i want to contract it as well to prove this point, im not sure how to do this though, so if u can get it, ill take your advice.
H1N1 is overexaggerated, and i hope people realize this b4 its 2 late.

by getting the shot would there be a higher risk of getting H1N1?

I don't think most people who come down with the flu after the shot got it from the shot. They could have been exposed to the flu beore they got the shot, or shortly after. It dows not give immunity immediatley.

I believe that if the gov gave out the flu shots in june the flu season would start in june too. If what you say is true then why give the shot out when the flu is already here? Why do people die from the shot? Why do they put mercury in the shot? Why did the drug companies gain immunity from the government for the vaccine? Where did the swine flu originate? Search "baxter avian flu" or "polio vaccine causes polio outbreak".
