eyeeatplants, you are right, I went through several packets. I finally notified the company, I was upset. The werekind enough to send coupons for more yeast,but I am nost sure they will work either.

Oh yeah, well I am a life long chef and Red Star , as of late,is very poor quality yeast. Set up to make a crucial recipe and go through packet after packet of yeast that will not cream at all. Red Star is at the bottom of the list now and bakers beware because you will waste loads of product when it doesn't rise.
