  • @jillmboivin you are wrong. If you do not like Southern Gospel music that is fine, but why be snide with the remarks you made.

  • This is terrible. No one wants to hear Grandma get up and sing!

  • Look at that lady in the middle. I don't know her name, but she's the older one in the group. I love the way she sings. Not only her voice, but the way she puts herself totally into what she is singing. You can see she believes what she is saying. This is what it is about. It is about being real, and that is true no matter what you are doing. Singing, preaching, whatever. If you're faking it, people can tell. Praise God for the genuine witness He seems to have in her.

  • Praise God - this is beautiful from hearts that love the Saviour. The best version I've ever heard and I study and sing classical music.

  • Yes, how deep the Father's love for us...all of us. We are His children and it surely grieves His heart that a group performing a magnificent song would be excuse for attacking folk that you likely have never met and know little of. If only the words of this hymn would be read and pondered, it would do every single person a load of good.

  • @natewilliams04 My heart breaks for you, brother. I am assuming you are a Christian since you seem to like the song, just not the style of music.

I would guess that you are from an elitist church where no one can serve unless they fit your mold of worship and style. Once I was part of that legalistic, elitist group of believers; but, now am thankful to be part of a gospel centered, Christ-focused church where we experience the Deep Father's Love For Us despite how we sing Scripture songs.

  • @natewilliams04 WOW! that comment is proof that hateful "christians" can bring a reproach to the name of Christ. I would suggest that no matter who sings this song, the meaning cannot be changed. Unless the meaning to you is in the music, notes and performers and of course if that's the case then you're a superficial, shallow "religious" person as opposed to a Child of The King.

  • this video is proof that southern gospel can ruin even the best song

  • There's an honesty in this that's very touching -- thank you for posting.

  • Great Song!!
