  • It would help to make the car longer and use a longer lever arm to pull more string through. There are 3 videos on my channel about mousetrap cars that might help.

Good job in coming up with this in a week!

  • @ScienceguyOrg Yup those are good tips, but our project had maximum dimensions. I made it as large as possible.

    and thanks!

  • can you send me the instructions please urgent!

  • @shij12 Any details on the mousetrap car design are in the link, found in the description. I hope that helps!

  • @soccerjudo10 I need to make one for phsyics and it must go 30ft for 60% of grade, any suggestions?

  • @Flingi2 yup, just a few. Use the lightest materials and the least amount of materials as possible (ie. use a frame, not a solid body). make the axles out of a light wood, instead of the metal i used (much to heavy). CDs work great, and just use trial and error when designing it! don't be afraid to go back and change stuff. I don't know what limitations there are for your project, but try out different ideas in order to see what works best. 30 ft shouldn't be too hard to do!

    Good Luck :)
