  • is it possible to hear the rest of the piece?

    thanks

  • I have two other clips here, "Handel Water Music 1" and "Handel Water Music 2."

  • Admittedly, the video is out-of-synch with the audio, but that doesn't detract from a great performance!

What kind (brand, style) of trumpet is that?

  • Unfortunately, my older clips are having synchonization problems and I haven't had any luck with anyone a Youtube offering to help.

The trumpet was, I believe, made by Crispian.

  • Sometimes it is called a natural Baroque trumpet!

  • @mtsumusic Plus, if you want to be technical about the umlaut over Handel's name in German, everyone spells Mozart's name as "Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart," but Mozart actually wrote his name Wolfgang Amadé Mozart for most of life, since everything "French" was fashionable in his time.

  • is he playing it !

  • Nice

  • so are those just all open partials?

  • Marvelous!

  • Wonderful! If you have ever tried to play one of these beasts, you will be as amazed as I at how wonderful he sounds playing that thing! I "owned" one for a while but alas, I made more money selling it than I did playing it! Amazing playing!

  • Beautiful playing. We've heard you on the radio from time to time. I can't help thinking, though, that the good looking organ in the background would have been a more appropriate accompanying instrument, supposing you could find an organist able to match the right stops to your fine trumpet!

  • @SuperflyMcNinja Chuckle!! Well said! Those sixteen wouldn't be satisfied even if the Archangel Michael himself were playing.
