  • several sites, listed 1970. I'd like to know who his band was. So tight, the organ, horns, are so late '60's, but SO tight. Like Joplin's Full Tilt Boogie band for PEARL. Scaggs was so smooth. Weird thing about being old now, us baby boomers. I've been home here, praying & studying all morning, & as a gentle rain falls, my mind was filled with We were Always Sweethearts/different in our ways, etc. Why? haven't a clue but I do remember it being a huge hit. haven't heard it since it was new either

  • @JohnWingWing Thanks so much for Moments, my favorite Boz record.

  • FYI ... The albums Moments, Boz Scaggs and Band, and My Time were not regularly available on CD until around 2004 when imports showed up, but for a hefty sum (although I know that BS&Band was available at some point at least for awhile from Columbia because a friend has it). Since then I've found My Time and BS&Band packaged as a two-fer. So they're out there now (Years ago I stopped looking and just made CDs from vinyl ... which allowed me to clean up some of the muddy sound on Moments).

  • She wears her rouge Like a summer day She wears her perfume Oh, what a way, yeah She's a flustered thing Oh my, my, my... She's my baby She's my baby Yeah yeah yeah She's got everything And what's in-between She's my baby She's my baby, yeah yeah yeah
  • Oh I sort of spun that number but I got it for free in the mail and I talk music a lot and nobody seems to know of it.

  • Listen to the Boz songs jump out off the first 2 Steve Miller records, "Steppin stone" and "Calling me Home" from Children of the Future and from the" Sailor" recored. "My Friend", "Overdrive", and the Credits claimed the high point of the alum was" Dime-A Dance Romance".

    Glyn Johns- Producer.

  • yer kidding, right? i have one of those 5000 copies, so it's kinda hard to believe.

This is a perfect album...forever..Thanks for posting it*****
