Real bored in Nemaska, so I decided to do this video one afternoon back in 2007. Me with long hair.

  • hey how did u do that

  • hehe:) I shot myself on each side separately and joined the two parts in the software I use. The rest is how you shoot it, placemarkers ..etc(I used the crack in between the doors in the background as my reference points while filming and editing and put a little dot on the table so each time i put down the glass, I would put it in place)

I dunno if I make sense but that is who I did this.

  • How wonderful to see that you still drop into YouTube from time to time. I'm glad to hear you've been really busy -- that's usually a good thing for most people, but sorry that it keeps you away from here. Are you putting your creative talents to good use?

  • Hi, Joe! It was nice of you to drop by and see this. You'll have to help me try and talk him into coming back to YT. Now do you see why I said you had to see this? Both of you used that glass/cup to great advantage, except a year apart.

  • Hi Dancegypsy - thanks for your comments. I've been so busy lately, I haven't been able to do youtube videos in a while.

I don't quite remember all the steps I took to do this video, but I know that I took short clips for every segment and then pieced them together in the computer. I remember putting little dots on the table so I knew exactly where to place the glass:)

  • Awesome.

  • I think one reason this is so good (I know you said you were't able to get one part right) is that you shot both parts in one long take each, right? Made it seamless. Also, your angle of vision when your twin walked in was spot on.

  • Perfection and an understatement all in the same package. You're so good. Please come back to YouTube.

  • Every time I watch this, I'm impressed. You can examine it for the tiniest details and can barely see anything to clue you in to the special effects. You're really good.

  • very well done. Nice!!

  • final cut, he cropped two videos so that they could fit on one screen and placed everything so that it would look continuous

  • ...can anybody explain it to me,please?
