The state of Human Rights

Sadly but surely this is the state of Human Rights in my beloved Pakistan. In this particular case police is attacking innocent citizens who were out on a protest marathon. But there are many out there like Asma Jahangir, a human rights activist, who no matter what the odds, are still trying to make a difference ... each day.

being born in that country and live there for many years of my life Im not surprised by this. There have been cases of innocent women arrested and raped by the police many times in the past. Even rape victims raped again when the go into police stations to file a report. Its very sad. Wish there was something I could do.
