@violets13 I find it hard to believe that 100% of the skinny models are naturally *that* thin though.

All women are fine. But lets not pretend every single size 0 model was born that way.

There is a reason why curvy Marilyn Monroe and Elizabeth Taylor were/are sex symbols. As there is a reason why Audrey Hepburn and Princess Diana (who are tall and thin) are icons too. There is room for both types in the world!! ;D

@DecivoDennio That's actually slightly incorrect. Thin models are used for sample sizes because it's cheaper and for very expensive fabrics ie. haute couture, it costs less for fashion houses and keeps in house revenue. It's not about what looks better per se, but what's better financially.

plus size models have their uses in the fashion industry, they are used for commercial reasons to portray how clothes would look on larger women however thin models are used for more high fashion because their job is to make the clothes look as good as possible, the taller and thinner the girl the better the clothes look on her, the models job is to be a walking hanger pretty much a "showcase" for the clothes because the show is not about the girl its about what she's wearing
