The Safeway Step® and Safeway Tub Door TM are affordable aging-in-place home modification products designed to modify an existing bathtub to provide easier access.
Both products provide easier accessibility into the bathtub area, are installed in just a few short hours, for a fraction of the cost compared to tearing out and removing the existing bathtub or other more costly options.
Installation of the Safeway Step® includes cutting a section of the existing tub and custom fitting the resulting opening with a Safeway Step®. This creates a more accessible step in shower.
Similar to the Safeway Step®, the Safeway Tub Door TM also provides easier access into the bathtub area.. However, the Safeway Tub Door TM is an affordable product that adds a water-tight sealable door to the existing bathtub.
