I WANT HER WITH ME, NOT DEAD? Sally field played the shit outta this. right about tears to laughter. brilliant writing and feelings. anybody can identify with this.

I have to do this for drama class, I'm m'lynn and I seriously don't even have to try to fake cry for this, every time I think of how torn apart she is because Shelby is dead, I just want to burst into tears.

This movie is about life, and being able to cope. We all laugh and smile during our lifetime, knowing maybe tomorrow or who knows when but for SURE we will die. So the human nature is about surviving, and laughing, even tho the love we really feel for each other never goes away. We are as we are, we laugh,cry,hit,yell and love. We are all those, we are human..

I want to be a writer, and one day, I want to write something as brilliant as this scene. The way this scene makes the audience go from crying to laughing hysterically is truly genius and extremely effective. I tend to love the more emotional or funny scenes in movies, so the combination of both makes this one of my favorite movie scenes ever.
