Classic Diesel Traction - Class 50

Class 50's seen on a couple of service trains but mostly on railtours in the early 1990's. The opening shot at Paignton was filmed on standard VHS so is of poorer quality to the rest of the video.

Years ago I used to hear those 50s roar through Southall with the 02.15 paper train during the night. English Electric engines always sounded good. Perhaps not as good as steam...But darn it's the next best thing.

I always think hearing trains at night is something special. I remember staying in a

B & B inTorre during GW150 and the sound of 50's working up Torre Bank was just incredible.
