Power pop band from Seattle 1978, their name used to be The Heaters but they changed the name for legal troubles, the song is from the album "Smoke".

I am seen them live in Olympia at a place called Astaire's. Another group opened up and actually blew them off the stage. The group was called Mercenary. Check out pnwbands.com for some great bands out of the NW!

they used to play this on the radio in aberdeen when i was a kid. i got their autograph at djs sound city at the wishkah mall

The scene was the Cowboys-Heats- Jim Basnight-Moberleys and the Magnics were the best 1979-82

I saw them open for Heart in Nashville in 1980. It's the only time I ever saw or heard them, but this song has stuck in my head for 30 years. After hearing it 1 time!

LOL Brings back very fond memories of seeing these guys all over the NW back in the day. Even saw them in Sun Valley for a week. Those were some fun party nights, a little tough to ski the next day...........

Wish I was as lucky as my brother to see these guys back in the day. He's the one that got me into them circa '82. I have everything from this band except for their "When You're Mine" /"Sorry Girls" 45. Anyone out there have it and want to give/sell it to me, send me a message. I've never even seen a copy...
