For what it's worth, I think Nixon was a solid President; he did a lot of good things. And he could have done even more if not for the stupidity of Watergate. But again, the Tea Party would consider his policies Socialist and Un-American. Those are the people I am scared to death of, not people like McCain or Dole.

I also like all of those Republicans for different reasons but the point that Democrats keep trying to make is this: those moderates DONT EXIST ANYMORE. We wish they did, but they dont.

They're all criminals in their own ways, but I don't really recall Reagan doing anything war criminal like. Bush jr and Obama are very criminal yes. Anyways I sure hope you're for Ron Paul and not trapped in the left vs right bubble.

Obama is a terrorist. I will be thrilled when he leaves office on 2016.

Not only did Reagan have a lower average approval rating than Clinton; he actually had a lower approval rating at the end of his term (keep in mind, this was after Clinton had been impeached and he STILL had a higher approval than rating). Clinton end-of-term approval was higher than any president's since Ike.
A feel good idea that things were better because Reagan had a cool ad saying it was morning again are not the same thing as a strong middle class and multiple budget surpluses.
