Bye Bye Belle~Crash and Burn

Ok, so it took me 4 months to finally finish this vid.. I have about 15 versions that I started and gave up on so I finally just made one that I was satisfied with. It's not great, but oh well. You get the point. I couldn't decide on a song for a really long time but I finally just thought about using this one and Idk it worked, inside story with the connection between the song and Belle.

Anyways, I made this video as sort of a tribute to remember her. Due to the economy we couldn't afford to keep her anymore and she went home last November. I was looking at another more advanced horse but we couldn't get him because of the costs. I barely ride anymore, a few times a month if I'm lucky. I was still kind of mad at Belle when we spend our last weeks together but in the last few days we had for the first time in the year and a half I had her, she would nicker and run up to me in the pasture and let me hug her and pet her face and all the touchy stuff she didn't used to do. I didn't think much of it then that I wouldn't be coming out to see her anymore, I had another horse on my mind and I had changed my mind track to him, but when that didn't work and I had no horse and no prospect of having my own horse again I fell apart. It hit me every day when I came home from school when I would usually beg my parents to let me go out to the barn but then suddenly that was gone and I didn't know what to do with myself. It's been hard and I still regret letting her go. We were never perfect or close but she was still my spazhorse.

I miss you Belle, I'll always love you =)

Hey there! I've never met you but I also used to ride with Drue; I even showed Belle a couple of times when Erika was skiing...that was a LONG time ago. I loved riding her!! She was so much fun and so fun to jump!! I'm sorry that you had to give up your lease :(

Hey sorry it took me so long to see your comment. That's sweet! I do love this horse, but one of my friends has been leasing her and they're doing great now, I just outgrew her and it was hard to let her go. And then I started leasing Megera (Erika's other horse) and I had fun with her but eventually couldn't afford the full lease by myself anymore. I rode with Drue for 4 1/2 years, she's great! But I just moved away and it was hard to say goodbye. Hope you're doing well =)

Why can't you get a job? I used to mow lawns, pick dandlions off people's lawns, babysit, pick beans, anything to support my horse. I even gave up candy at one point and I was 15 and .

I ended up getting a job this last spring but its hard to find work for high schoolers around here. I now make enough to support a lease horse on my own considering my parents wont help me but I've had bad luck with finding horses since I have started looking again. One of them ended up lame, one of them didn't work for other reasons, and one of them is going with its owners to Georgia in a month. But I'm still looking, hopefully I'll find something =/

I have no right to say this because I dont know u or ur circumstances, but the way I read in between the lines is u didnt really appreciate what u had. I cant see having a connection with a horse on a lease. Horses want ur heart and soul in order to have theirs. They know if u love them with all ur being. That is when they shine. Dont bother yelling at me, that is my opinion and wont change it.
