  • i have a fresh water tank with a dragon eel in it.

i was wondering if i can put a cat shark in to???

  • what??? freshwater with a dragon moray? theres NO way thats the same type of eel they have to be in saltwater, and as far as i know theres no cat sharks that are freshwater? and fyi my shark was killed by my eel during a fight over food, the shark tried to steal food from my eel and the eel bit him really bad and it soon died from the injurys so if you do try to feed them seperate from each other.

  • I had a major question, because ur shark seems to be doing really good. What kinda filtration are u running??? A friend of mine keeps buying the same shark and they keep dying. and honestly he doesn't keep up with his tank but seeing them go down that quick makes me not want to get one.

  • i have 100 gallon tank and i bought a canister filter for 125 gallons, and i also have two small hang-on filters that i just threw in ithat are for 10 gallon tanks

  • Nice Shark Mate. is that Bamboo Cat Shark??? And how Big the Grow?

  • they say about 28 inches i think? but you can get them still an the egg so they start off just a few inches

  • @9531361 Dragon eels can't survive in freshwater and neither can sharks. People have tried to "acclimate" sharks to freshwater, but it kills them- it just takes awhile. THESE ARE NOT FRESHWATER ANIMALS. You cannot keep them in freshwater just because you want to.

  • @fireboy172004 not sure that was a good combination. Eels are aggressive, and cat sharks are pretty docile. I've heard that with the larger eels species, any tank mates are a major gamble

  • lol how is that coral banned shrimp still alive nice ttank check out mine

  • Such a nice set up you got there.. do the eel and shark not fight?? and also not eat everything else lol still really nice set up never seen one like that before

  • Sorry to be a party pooper but this tank is extremely small for the shark, it should really be housed in a 180 or larger.

  • thats one big ass starfish

  • love the tank i have a 120 with a 18'' spotted cat shark and a 18'' snowflake eel keep up the good work

  • nice shark....looks like he loves those bubbles
