  • I believe that reading the Bible every day is the healthy and necessary for all of us. If we don't do that, Satan will not hesitate to attack our hearts to turn it away from God's word. We have to feed our mind daily with the only truth or we are in real danger. There must be system in our reading to go through the whole Bible over and over again to know and memorize it in our mind and our heart. I read at least one chapter daily to protect myself with the sword of the Spirit.

  • @patika000 Thanks for your opinion. But, I think you missed my point :)

  • @patika000 I wanted to respond, but I first watched the video, which affirmed my thoughts. Yes, the word of God is a sword to protect us from the evil one. However, it's not what you do with the Scripture, but what the Spirit does with it, through you. Some people need daily routine, in order to keep them on track, and the spirit will re-affirm you in that, if that's the case. However, if reading the bible every day feels like a burden, perhaps the Spirit is telling you: take it easy.

  • @PastorBobBeeman I think so. :) I have no any doubt that you are working hard to bring the people closer to Christ. Maybe I misunderstand the point because I'm not that good English speaker :) God bless you Pastor Bob! :)

  • @patika000 Yeah Joshua is a great chapter to read based on meditating on the word of god day and night.

  • There are some scriptures that tell us more about this. Read Psalm 1 and Joshua 1:8.
