Great comment by Obama about McCain; In Germany;200,000 people turned out at ONE rally to see this man.Americas present excuse for a president is disgusting; This man is refreshing;maybe i would have asked tougher questions;but the point i am trying to make is that America needs some pride back;not scorn and contempt from other nations. Here is your chance; Please dont waste it.

Also, off-shore drilling won't do anything. It might have helped 20 years ago, but...
Wait, Obama couldn't have voted for it back then.
A certain someone else could have though, but that's besides the point. ;]

I agree Zereoue. We need a leader to inspire us so that we can make a difference. People have said it a million times, America's greatest threat is their own apathy. And I feel decision making skills outrank "experience." XD

"I'm sorry to tell you that the price of oil — as far as I can tell — is not gonna go down anytime soon until we eliminate our dependency on it. We can do that as a nation — we can turn out the lights five minutes earlier, we don't have to drive the extra block."
--John McCain, April 2008
Is that John McCain's energy plan?

"Swing voters" take careful notice of this video. The man in this video is obviously addressing substantive issues. He can't help it if he just happens to be a great communicator as well. (Hence, the rock star status) Come on over to the bright future side!

sensoring?
I have to rate this as one of Obama's best performances ever. Perhaps it was the lack of sleep, but Obama was charming, relaxed, funny and those pauses and "umm-ing" was nowhere to be seen. I think until the convention, no more big speeches - listen as you did on the world trip, and hold conversations like this. You don't want headlines after the first presidential debates that too many speeches left the candidate unprepared for answering tough questions. Anyway, great stuff and good luck!!
