@damiion666 Brown rice, black beans, Lentils, barely, oatmeal lots of grains. I have lots of canned tuna, chicken, and don't forget powdered skim milk, dried eggs and canned fruit. No matter what anyone says extra medical supplies are always a good thing along with bathroom products. I am putting away snack foods because when the SHTF who really doesn't want a snack here and there! LOL I know I do.
Let me know if you find any stores that are selling in bulk, thanks.
@GeriMills459 I live in las vegas too and I don't recall seeing any section like this. I just cobble together my own shopping lists for food preparedness before I go to super walmart.
I have a "Q" for anyone. Walmart in Idaho Falls has a section called preparedness Center. What about las vegas NV. I have gone to 3 super walmart centers and they all looked at me like I was nuts. Even the managers didnt know what i was talking about. Any help for us in Vegas?
hey has anyone told you that you sound like cody lunden from dual survival. i love hearing you talk. and i am using my husbands email so when you look it up no it is not the acutal user writing this. i am a female.
nice selection. most people commenting think you have a steady diet of ramens. but they are really good as food extenders, can stretch nutritious food a long way.
Honey, as a degreed home economist I can tell you that you need to focus on getting the most nutrients possible. While packaged foods are easy and provide calories, they also are full of salt, glutemates, nitrites, excitotoxins, and other chemicals that can degrade your health. If you can, get as close to whole foods as possible. Grains, dried or canned fruit and veggies, dried beans, and other items that will keep you full and well. No ramen noodles, they are the worst. Stay healthy preppers.
You can make a 100's different recipes using ramon noodles, add meat & vegetates and make a stir fried, great in soups etc. Changing the nutritional value from 0 to something healthy!
Don't forget you can always ration your short-term storage in emergencies. Good excuse and group motivation to go on a diet too!
