The original kata was taught by Seisho Aragaki, Sensei. The original is more Naha-te, but it has been adopted by different styles [Shito-ryu and Shotokan]. This version shown is the Shito-ryu version, performed by Alexander Garcia
there are a lot of things about this version that are just... well different. Not bad or anything, but it's a bit different than one that I do. I'll record my Sochin in a few days and post it up. Essentially you do the same Sochin as I do, just few turns are different and arm positions are quite a bit different. Good luck with your training.
