Montoya's an ass, but I wouldn't throw all the blame on him in this case. Montoya did have his bumper underneath Pruett, and maybe Montoya could've let up a little bit, but as for Pruett, I really think he could've given Montoya more room. It's no wonder he keeps losing rides. This could've been prevented, but it's all in the past.

@rudfil That's true, but they're TEAMMATES. Montoya should've been a little more patient, because he had EIGHT laps on a ROAD COURSE to pass 1 guy, HIS TEAMMATE!

First, Pruet was on the race line, and Montoya wasn't. Montoya would have been able to pass Pruet if he would have been on the right side before the race line point where you have to turn the wheel.For me, my interpretation, it's Montoya's fault, he wasn't enough close to be in it's "right" to pass.

Pruett turned in too late. Montoya was faster and deeper into the corner . . . Pruett's fault pure and simple.

Pruett clearly cut across Montoya. When Montoya moved across on the straight Pruett should have either moved across to cover the move (in which case Montoya would have probably tried to go around the outside) or kept on the outside of the turn so that he could take the inside line at the next corner.
