1.)Death Sentence be rescinded

Tibetans across the globe and supporters like Noble laureate Archibishop Desmund Tutu, Vaclav Havel, President of Arab Thought Forum: Prince Hassan Bin Tatal and many others appeal to PRC to rescind the decision to execute four Tibetans for their alleged role in Lhasa protest last year. Various Tibetan NGOs appealed to Wu Aiying, China's Minister of Justice for retrial to be conducted in accordance with International judicial standards. Other demands are made also

2.)Tibetan Women's Association helds 9th General Meeting

170 women delegates from 32 regional chapters spread across the globe met in Dharamsala for the 9th General Body Meeting. Various issues ranging from empowering Tibetan women on all fronts to more effective participation in Tibetan struggle were discussed. Meeting concluded with election of the 9th executive members.
