The installation continues and we see what the various processes sound like from indoors.
Adding a comment during the following Winter,,, yes the house does feel much warmer. We used to have fan heaters in some bedrooms to make things more comfortable at bedtime. They have hardly been used so far this winter.

  • Nicely done ! have you notice much savings in your heating bill? Thanks for your work.

  • @uoyuoy444 Only last week our Gas supplier gave us over £150 rebate back from our usual 3 monthly payment. It has been a relatively mild winter so far, but it certainly feels more comfortable in the house and we dont imeadiately feel like turning the heating on when we come in. I believe it is a benefit well worth doing...

  • @TheMarkc Thats good! especially if the local council help with the cost of the atic too!

  • @ADMIRALSCORNER yes first nite im already noticing a difference the flat wasn't ice cold when i woke up, i had my attic insulated as well free through the council grant :)

  • @TheMarkc See my reply to "uoyuoy444" who has just asked a similar question. I quess the same must be true in hot climates (which ours isnt!) to keep the place cooler in Summer.as the walls dont let heat transfer through so well. I expect you will be pleased with the result!

  • @ADMIRALSCORNER hi how are you fonding the insulation handles now?ive heard it keeps a room cool in the summer too ,i had cavity insulation done today at my flat .

  • @eseaidea Its a Packard Bell which I believe has already been superseded! Its been good especially since it has a single hardrive keeping everything together and allowing maximum usage. So many past problems have been down to splitting the hatd drive, as most laptops do.

  • what is the brand of that laptop?

  • @mario8silicone It is true, the exterior walls should not allow any rain to enter through to get to the filling. It claims to be water proof but could allow water to soak into it and then reach the interior wall.

  • If there is leakage, humidity, flooding is a problem of housing for 100 years
