Yea it does need them, its got "AT"s, wich are basicly just road tyres. It could also do with a lift. Other than that its an excellent landrover.
Its up for sale btw, if anyones interested.

Might be worth getting some taller mud tires. looks like you just have the stock ones on. Probably why you kept getting stuck. Newbs

i would be embarrest if my 90 could'nt make it up the stuff that your 110 could'nt.
110's are too long and heavy to be as good off roader as a 90.

There not as good off road, but there not bad. Ive got my 110 over/through everything my friends 90s done. The one in the video isnt mine, and its not me driving it, ive got videos of mine on facebook.
I will always drive 110s over 90s though because their load space is way more practical, and they handel better on the road.
