  • This mivec rev cut at 6500 rpm not because of temperature too low,but cause of mivec not shifting to hi cam (mivec not on).I faced this prob before..

    No.... This really cause by the temp too low. Due to the thermostat jam, and been removed.... causing the coolant temp need more time to get the working temp..

    And i found that was not a right setup for remove thermostat .... :)

    i've got a 1st generation MIVEC engine and i put it in my lancer!

    i don't know that the GTI lancer's tachometer is work with this engine!

  • @inahooo I think it can work on this engine, but i'm not sure whether just plug n play or need to re-configure the wiring.
