I don't know where you've got your info from but you are completely wrong. Slim Dusty was born in Kempsey N.S.W in 1927. So that would and does make him an "Aussie Legend"

Now I love this song, but isn't this a music video? It says he's in concert, but there are too many camera angles, the crowd is too small, the applause is too perfect, and the camera angle from the inside the cab of the truck makes me think this wasn't a concert, but a video.

It's both a Concert, circa 1970's and a Video. . .

It is footage of a concert filmed somewhere in the "Aussie Outback",

The cover credits of the dvd this clip was taken from says, "Vision: Live on location with Gordon Parsons" ( the singer/songwriter introduced by Slim ) I can only assume they were filming for a TV show, etc.
