Why is having money not spirtual?...Why should people not enjoy things money can buy?You can have two people who treat others good and if one can also offer financial support isn't that a good thing?

True spirituality is about waking up from the dream, not making the dream more pleasant through "manifesting" money etc. This looks like a New Age/Hindu hybrid. For true spirituality read Nisargadatta Maharaj and Ramana Maharshi.

Friend, u despise money coz u have it. Preaching spirituality to a man who has no money to feed his children is a bigger sin. First give him food, then preach Spirituality. Even i used to keep looking down upon money mantras but i nvr realized that was coz God gave me enough money in d first place. But lets spare a thought for the less fortunate. Its easy for all of us to preach Spirituality wen every material needs r fulfilled. Just a thought, no offense meant.

As I understand Karma - we collect good and bad Karma in each life - the next life if we have collected bad Karma than it may manifest as something bad occuring in this life. I don't understand how we can rid ourselves of bad Karma and why would you want to dispel good Karma? Karma is a universal law as I understand it so how can we get rid of Karma by chanting? Someone please help on this.

I'm reading the book prosperity and enlightenment - finding so far three mantras but as open minded as I am I realize the mantras are based on Hindu Gods - I'm just not understanding how repeating these mantras without meditation (to help) can actually effect changes in one's life.

@lisa4yx Shouldn't make any difference where you are...you don't have to say them outloud. I set a certain time of day to say them quietly and then, no matter what I'm doing, dishes, tv commercial etc, I say them again in my head as there are people around me throughout the day.
