A song my sister penned about the day she came to save me from myself.

The Storm has been and gone,
There's still yet worse to come,
I think there's torrential rain in Scotland.

When all is said and done,
It was more than a bit of fun,
But I'm a shallow bastard anyway.

The words are on the screen,
But scroll down to the funnies at the end --
They'll make you laugh.
And what good is TV?
There's jokes on here we didn't get as kids,
But now we're laughing.

3 AM -- I'm tired
But sleep is not my friend
Half-empty bottle by the bed.

The servers being slow
There's rain at my window
I think I'll just order a Take-away

Doctor won't you please
Prescribe me something more than just
words?
I need help.
Yeah, I need stability
This can't get any-worse,
I just can't let it.

Cups of tea in bed
Unchanged sheets
The dryings wet again, and I feel dead.

Tomorrow is the day
They make me or the break me
I just can't live half-way

Can't you make it mend?
The broken parts of psyche and my heart:
They're good friends
And we can play pretend.
I'll fix you up, the pills will make you drowsy
But just at first

And who'll break first?
I'll break first.
Yeah who'll break first?
I broke first.
