I haven't watched the Top 50 dvd. I don't know how The Rock could have the biggest impact in the shortest time when he and Austin were in WWE for about the same amount of time. The fact that The Rock is such a huge star outside of wrestling makes him a lot more desirable in wrestling. Let's just put it this way, if The Rock hadn't become a mega-star from his movies, we probably wouldn't be having this discussion. Everyone would choose Austin.

@vincentrich I can agree that Austin made the biggest impact on wrestling overall. But I still believe Rock made the biggest impact in the shortest time. They even mention it on the 'Top 50 Superstars of All Time' DVD. Rock was also on top for about the same number of years Austin was, so it is pretty close.

The Rock's had the most overall success, but I'd say that Stone Cold made the biggest impact on wrestling in the shortest time. Austin 3:16 changed pro-wrestling and was as big as anything before/after it. Realistically, Austin was only on top for 2 or 3 years.

@danathor99 I can't believe i jus read this lol, u must be a rock fan to the death. stone cold already got over the fans during his feud with brett hart, thats why they turned brett hart heel cuz the fans were cheering stone cold over brett... he barely feuded with the rock during his intercontinental runs they only had like 1 match when stone cold took out the whole nation, by the time the rock were getting over the fans stone cold was already like a 2 time champ
