I'm surprised at how rare this is - but honestly, even though this song probably isn't to be taken literally, this is how I feel, as a woman. Sometimes you just feel pure lust for somebody and I think this song is pretty great for summing that up. Also, I prefer the Girlysounds version, I guess just because that's the one I heard first.

Why can't a female express herself? And it's not like a gangsta rapper degrading women;In fact, it's a retort to such attacks. I believe her songs are a rather intelligent comment on social mores and parameters. I like this live version even better than the unrelased studio cut. Peace:-)

yes well...the fact that you and others are disciplining female singers as to what is appropriate and what is "unlady like" for female singers to say/sing suggests that "women's lib" is much needed....
