This is a remixed version of U2's 1984 song "Pride (In The Name of Love)" about the Martin Luther King assassination featuring audio excerpts of the news coverage and MLK's great words. I did a similar one about 25 years ago that U2 briefly flirted with releasing as a charity single. You can read more about that story on my blog, http://playitandbedamned.blogspot.com
In honor of MLK day 2009 and Barack Obama's historic inauguration the next day, I redid the mix and put together a slideshow using iMovie '08 and GarageBand.

@mully133 Absolutely, he was great, but it's arguably on due to the fact that hundreds of brave 'unknown' people worked hard and lost their lives that was even able to come along when he did and lead the movement. The movement was already well under way thanks to so many people who will never be remembered in the official history.
