Bob Griffith's amazing Twin Turbo Viper built by Andrew "Serge" McClelland uses a 510 Cubic Inch Exotic Engine Developments V10 engine featuring a Twins Turbo Motorsports twin Bullseye Power turbo system with wiring by GP Motorsports. A MoTeC M800 engine management system as well as twin MoTeC CDI8 Ignition boxes, a MoTeC ADL Dash Logger, twin MoTeC E888 expansion boxes, a MoTeC PDM30 Power Distribution Module and MoTeC Shiftlight module are all configured and calibrated by Shane Tecklenburg (Tuned By Shane T)

These videos are of the first passes by the viper since being tested on the Twins Turbo Dynapack dyno where it made over 949 hp at just 3.5 psi boost.

The first two runs here are 1/2 mile while the final 3 runs are the full mile.

  • Damn this car is tail happy !!!

  • nice 3-4 shift on the first run.

  • I think that hideous hood affected his ability to put down traction under high boost! JK. Much respect to Bob.............except for that hood. lol:) Seriously though, very mean snake.

  • @redhot916spd Gearing, maybe?

  • I cannot wait to see this car at SORC this year 240mph???

  • @leovan2007 That is a great question. *driving....driving....random cowboy*

  • @M4arc He missed two gears, and had the car way out of shape, it was a fair observation. I wasn't disrespecting, don't get your panties in a bunch. The driver put the video out there, he's going to get comments other than "wow dood, cool car!!!11"

  • @dsmraver

damn man your some kind of car guru or something, yep the driver needs a *LOT* more seat time, not in his 6 sec. pro mod car, or his record holding bonneville car (246 mph) or his other record holding cars..man your good.

thanx for your insight on how you would do it.

now get to it man...make it happen

  • @M4arc the driver needed a *LOT* more seat time, that's obvious. The poster mentioned that it's the car's first passes, normally a drag strip is utilized for testing before an event like this.
