July 2nd, 2007 - Rocky Mountain Division of NARCOA's run on the SL&RG's La Veta Pass. Westbound towards Blanca on a 6 horsepower Fairmont M14-H-2. The speeder group met SLRG 1744 at Fir Siding at the top of the pass.
@Cyclist051 The video was taken in 2007; the cars have since been cleaned up. I'm not sure how long they were there; my guess would be a couple months. I believe that's farther up the mountain than mule shoe curve, but I'm not too familiar with SLRG so I could be wrong...
Holy cow! What's the story behind all the derailed cars on their sides around 3:30? And no one has bothered to clean them up?
