This is my favorite Lynn Anderson song ( along with " Stay There 'til I Get There " ). It never really became a big hit, though. I think it was because it was so short. If she had added one more verse it would have been a chart topper. Love it. And thanks for posting it.

I'm getting old now, I've heard a lot of country for decades. This little gal has kept herself wonderful all these years, and her songs seem crisp and fresh even now. If she was starting all over, I think she would make it big a second time around.
